Receptionists (night) for Fairfield and Residence Inn by Marriott

Now you have the opportunity to become part of our team at one of our two lovely hotels, Fairfield by Marriott Copenhagen and Residence Inn by Marriott Copenhagen. Both hotels are beautifully located in Nordhavn, an area that has transformed over the past 10 years into an exclusive urban and residential neighborhood developed around small islands and divided by canals.

Our hotel is the only dual-branded hotel in Denmark. You will be hired for either Fairfield or Residence Inn, but as an employee, you will work closely with colleagues from both brands, supporting and assisting each other. We see you as one team managing the operations of both brands together.

If you are a student, this is a great opportunity for you. We are currently looking for 2 outgoing, welcoming, and responsible part-time night receptionists. If desired, there is the possibility to take on additional day or evening shifts when the hotel needs it. If you are hired for a set number of hours, you will also be part of a fixed schedule. For substitute positions, shifts will be scheduled according to need. Shifts may include any of the seven nights of the week, including weekends, holidays, etc.

As a receptionist, your role includes a wide variety of tasks. You should enjoy multitasking, as your work will lay the foundation for a well-structured and planned workday for your colleagues. Your primary responsibility will be ensuring that every guest has an excellent hotel experience from check-in to check-out and always with a smile.


YOUR TASKS WILL INCLUDE

• Checking guests in and out
• Handling room reservations and answering phone calls
• Assisting guests with their inquiries
• Managing administrative tasks
• Handling other general reception duties
• Conducting security rounds in the hotel

PROFILE

• Experience in the hotel or service industry is an advantage but not a requirement
• You have a good command of English, both written and spoken, and preferably Danish as well
• You enjoy providing service and helping others
• You are generally comfortable with IT
• You thrive working independently and responsibly, as you will often be alone at the reception
• You are thorough, dedicated, and have a proactive attitude
• You are a night owl who enjoys working when others are asleep
